This summer we have begun highlighting the bright world of open-source 3D printing and all of the spirit that has gone into bringing it to us. Well, we can go one step further and illuminate how we can make cool stuff like sculptures and models with recyclable and household materials, you can even start with free materials like cardboard and make some really amazing stuff! Awesome applications like Autodesk 123D make it easy and extremely fun to dive headfirst into the way things are made. The makers of 123D have also worked hard to keep the learning curve trained enough that learning to design is still lots of fun.
Be sure to stop by the Reuseum at our next Raising Makers meeting, August 11th at 10am!
