Automobile Aerodynamics with Greenspeed Research and The Reuseum – December 13, 10:30AM – 12:30PM
In 2012, Boise’s own Greenspeed Research set the land speed record for a vehicle powered by vegetable oil – that’s right, the same vegetable oil you use to cook pancakes! And they did it at over 200 miles per hour!
Join Greenspeed and The Reuseum to see the car and meet the people that set the record. You’ll learn about vehicle aerodynamics and wind resistance, and participants will design and build their own car models to see how they perform in our wind tunnel. We’ll also discuss sustainable fuels and their future applications, and you’ll get an inside look at the next record Greenspeed is going after.
Here are some cool images from the last time we did this workshop!
Don’t miss out on this free, super-fun event!
