St. Luke's Dinner

St. Luke’s Boise Hospital is dedicated to providing services and care for children in our community, region, and state.  This unique dinner will take place on the new skybridge that connects St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital with the new St. Luke’s Children’s Pavilion, featuring outpatient specialty clinics and services.  You will enjoy dinner overlooking Avenue B and Jefferson Street, near Downtown Boise, looking toward the Boise Foothills from three-stories above the street. David Bishop, St. Luke’s Boise’s Chief Operating Office, and his wife Stephanie, will host a dinner for six people on this evening.  The dinner will be prepared by Chef Jason Jones, who was voted top chef in 2018 from Idaho Chefs de Cuisine. After dinner, Dave will provide a brief tour of the Children’s Pavilion and Children’s Hospital.  We will finish off the evening with a champagne toast and handmade chocolates on the Air St. Luke’s helicopter pad that sits atop the 10-floor patient care tower.  You will have the opportunity to enjoy the views from one of Boise’s best vantage points and to take some photographs to capture the moment.

SRM Arms Tactical Shotgun

SRM Arms is an industry-leading small arms manufacturer, specializing in shotguns and shotgun componentry. SRM is led by a team of small arms design, engineering, and machining specialists with extensive experience in the development of shotguns and other tactical weapons. The SRM team has developed shotguns, weapon componentry and upgrade solutions, which meet the challenges facing hunters, law enforcement officers, and military units and personnel.

The most unusual feature of the M1216 is the detachable magazine. The magazine which runs parallel to the barrel is made of four tubes, each with its own spring and follower. Each tube can hold four 2 3/4" or 3" shells for a total of sixteen. When inserted into the gun, the operator can flip a switch and manually rotate the entire magazine, either clockwise or counter clockwise, to choose which tube feeds into the receiver. In a tactical application, by loading different shells in different tubes, this would allow the operator to switch between different types of shells to adapt to a changing scenario, or it could allow rapid fire of all 16 rounds. Once the magazine is empty, pressing the release switch to drop the magazine allows it to be replaced with a full one.

SRM bumper

The M1216 has a polymer stock to reduce weight and a steel upper receiver. The manual safety, charging handle and ejection port can all be removed and relocated to either the left or right side of the receiver to accommodate the operator's preferences. Picatinny Rails line the top and sides of the shotgun allowing a wide variety of attachments such as sights, lasers, and flashlights to be used.
